Without disagreeing with the substance in this interview, I disagree that the Medical Freedom Movement is disarmed. It’s clear to me that all we get with the system we have is this endless Hegelian horror show, and this is the latest phase, but the same grassroots energy that got Trump elected is the grassroots energy that will learn this lesson, and needs to. I think the ball is MUCH farther down the field, but that is in spite of, not because of.
I am on the fence about whether this move was essential, (I still lean towards yes but I could be wrong,) but we are looking at a generational shift here and I think this part of that. There hasn’t been an appointee in any role like this in my lifetime who has even pretended to be an avatar for anything other than business as usual. That tells me that the we are WAY past “ignore you,” and possibly even past “Laugh at you” and well into “fight you.”
I have relatives who now know that food coloring is extremely toxic. These are people that never knew this prior to RFK Jr. entering the conversation. Was legislation created by him or his prompting to restrict these toxins in our children's food? No. There's a crossroads here though, between people who recently realized food coloring is toxic and believe laws happened (via RFK, that didn't) so they don't have to read labels now, and those who recently woke up to the dangers of additives (and such) that *are* reading labels now. Both are somewhat better for knowing something they did not know before. However, when we got to the point last week where RFK Jr is praising Fauci for his premonition of the evils of measles vaccine rates dropping and quoting death tolls *with* measles skyrocketing rather than *from* measles, I can't not look at this as a betrayal of those who hoped MAHA, regardless of the initial doomsday naysayers opposing the whole venture would at the least not praise Fauci. I think there was a nuanced net positive until this latest rubicon was crossed, a threshold way too far for those who read RFK Jr's book and can't stomach him praising what he vividly and factually illustrated was this disgusting monster.
You keep asking why. RFK Jr. has issues with sex addiction. He likely has compromised himself through sexual deviancy or immorality in such a way that he would lose all of his health freedom clout that would otherwise outlive some questionable choices in the post that he may be able to blame on the system. Some has come out.

It's certainly been helpful, if not essential.
