Probably all of them. I know there were vigorous campaigns to get those cretins out of office. But they were going up against powerful institutional (pharma and other) money. The CA legislature is bought and paid for, and it’s tough to fight that.
Of course, getting them out of office shouldn’t be the goal anyway. They belong in jail.
It also makes me wonder why we “need” a legislature in the first place. We had a pretty good thing going with common law. It seems that this whole enterprise is just a way for a bunch of unaccountable suits to sit in a room and take away our rights, for the benefit of whoever pays them.
The legislators who are or who will be removed by voting, will be replaced by equally cowardly beaurocrat/egislators who will carry forward the globalist agenda. New faces. Same game.
Thank you so much for this. I'm here in CA, and one of the ladies in white you see going into handcuffs in your pictures there (Sept 9th, 2019). What a day! What a year. What a movement. And we're not done yet. Although . . . shifting up how we show up yet again, in some ways, may benefit us all in the long run.
Yes. Lining up nicely, giving our allowed sentence of name, organization (if with one), support or oppose. Go home, come back another day to do it all again. Crowded in the hallways. The desperation of mothers, of the injured, of those who know how VERY big this battle is. The desperation of knowing how much leverage a few people have/had. Trying to get appointments with the Legislators who were moving oh so fast to change our lives, to impact our rights. Yes, we did tire of that. Yes, we did.
On the night of Sept 6th, 2019, officers did in fact make arrests inside the State Capitol. Two women were arrested, then taken over to the jail for processing, then very quietly "un-arrested" and taken back to the hotel across the street from the State Capitol and dropped off there. All the other remaining women (those who had to go home to their children, those who could not afford to lose their jobs, should a jail stay go more than a few days) had already been flushed out of the Capitol building by that time. This isn't anything against officers here at all, just adding a historical detail that most don't know yet.
So many memories from this time. Then, watching 2020 unfold. Watching the lock-step of the policies rolling out on country after country. Watching people comply with businesses being shuttered. Watching the very few not comply. Observing the differences, here and there, as real humans made decisions real-time. Watching our country in the past few years, as "Left" is played against "Right" and certain people up top continue to have their way with us all, for the most part. So many thoughts here. Thank you for the memories though, oh it brings so much back.
I am intrigued to see how the power of a movement like this CAN make a difference, as we truly identify WHERE and how a difference could be made. . .
I've thought a lot about what all of those warrior moms have been up to these past few years. I know a few at least have (like us) moved out of state. But the problem hasn't gone away, it's only gotten worse.
I remember thinking when "Covid" hit, how convenient that timing was. I don't know what might have happened next at the capitol - but I do know that the asshats sitting in office there had lost any claim to any kind of credibility they may once have had.
I know the fire is still there - much of it has now morphed into the current medical freedom movement. I just hope that it doesn't become completely co-opted and watered down. Because what we really need is radical, radical change. My own opinion? We don't need "legislatures" at all. Common law does a much better job of protecting our rights, and all these jackasses have given us is more and more control over our lives every time they get together. I say get rid of them all.
@Bretigne
Cool pictures.
How many folks in the pictures organised campaigns (successful or not) to kick out the legislators who voted in favor of SB276 and SB714?
Thank you for posting these pictures.

Exactly. Dump them all, and dump the toxic institution of the legislature altogether.

It's great to hear from you!

Thank you for all that you have done!
Thanks for this post! Back in 2021, I interviewed Judea Johnson who was part of the original movement too: https://sanefrancisco.substack.com/p/beige-against-the-machine-judea-johnson
