I know, it seems like it was just yesterday. But here we are and another year has gone by, and we’re only a week away from Susan’s Still Alive Day!
I hope everyone is stocking up on bananas!
For anyone who doesn’t know what I am talking about, Susan’s Still Alive Day (SSAD) is the day upon which we celebrate the continuing vibrance, life force, and indeed, very survival, of Susan May.
Susan explains (from last year):
“A year ago I posted my own commentary with multiple screenshots of an article. It got shared quite a bit. Then someone who was triggered by my post implied there was a chance - a good chance even?? - that I would be dead in a year.”
Susan told the story and posted screenshots of this exchange, which you can see here:
Happy "Susan's Still Alive Day"!
If you don’t know who Susan May is, you should. She is one of the most centered and grounded people around these days - qualities that seem to be in increasingly short supply. Susan helps others to find more peace and balance in their lives, with her RiseUP community, and her Facebook group “
Facebook didn’t like any of this. It declared her post (about her interaction with the person who didn’t think she’d be alive a year later) to be “misinformation” and blocked it from being viewed. You can read all about that here:
But none of that stopped us from celebrating with full force when the day came! Here’s how we did it, and how you can do it too, next Tuesday:
Celebrate "Susan's Still Alive Day"!
If you’re like most people, you’re probably feeling like Susan’s Still Alive Day (SSAD) has just snuck up on you this year. (Yes, it’s TODAY!) And you’re probably wondering how you’ll pull it all together at the last minute Well fear not! Susan herself (
I’m hoping to grab Susan for a quick catch-up podcast before the big day. Stay tuned!
