I Don't Usually Post About my Fiction Writing Here, But...
...I've got two stories in a new anthology, and Christmas is just around the corner!
I don’t normally write about my fiction writing here (I do that over here), but just this morning, a new anthology of sci-fi and horror stories was released, with two of my stories in it.
Both of these stories have a political bent to them, and “Alligator” has something special to say about pushy pediatricians. So I suspect that readers of this Substack might enjoy these ones.
You can also find my stories over on my fiction Substack, “Fantastical Contraption”, although I do want to mention – as I woke this morning to find myself careening wildly towards Christmas and having no idea how that happened, and I’m sure you’re all just as surprised as I was – that all of my books, including this latest anthology, make terrific Christmas gifts!
Those books include:
Annabel Pickering & the Sky Pirates;
Urban Yogini: A Superhero Who Can’t Use Violence;
Urban Yogini: The Christmas Episode;
And a truly wonderful anthology of essays on war and peace, titled “Why Peace?”, in which I have an essay. I mention this one, not only because of my own essay, but because it is a real gem, containing works from such luminaries as Charles Pena, Coleen Rowley, Karen Kwiatkowski, Steve Kubby, Lew Rockwell, Paul Craig Roberts, Anthony Gregory, Michael Strong… and my dad. I really recommend this volume, even if you don’t read my piece. And what could be more appropriate for Christmas than a 610-page book extolling the virtues of peace?
I attest to 'Annabel Pickering and the Sky Pirates: The Fantastical Contraption' being a great gift!
