…OK, “brawl” is probably a little strong.
Here’s what happened:
The former US Surgeon General posted this:
I considered carefully what the most appropriate response might be to his thoughtful attempt to engage in a good-faith back and forth with those who don’t share his views, I came up with:
I added:
…with a link to this piece I wrote a while ago addressing the persistent lies in the mainstream media about how measles cases are on the rise because so many parents have stopped vaccinating against it. SPOILER: It’s not, and they haven’t.
I also mentioned, because he didn’t seem to be aware, and I like to be helpful:
He didn’t respond to either of these two Tweets, but he did respond to my first one, saying:
I reciprocated:
Am I sorry I used the “F” word with this person who is happy to use the power of the state to force dangerous medical interventions on other people’s children? No, I’m not.
I only wish I had something more potent I could use on him, like a legal system that recognized and defended the bodily autonomy of the people it purports to serve.
I’ll let y’all know if he writes back.
Good for you! How sad that, like so many others out there who have been handed "public health" positions over the years, he can't be bothered to respond to facts with useful FACTS. What got up his back end all of a sudden lately anyways? Has he now been instructed to keep us all busy with PV rhetoric like so many others out there are wont to do right now? I swear, it's like we've all gone back 10 years in time in the public arena, while the folks who are rolling out the agendas are just picking up speed :( Aye. . . .
Insufferability is their refuge; flush them out of it at every opportunity. They are vacuous mongrels with nothing to offer if the machine pulls away its support.
